Oraimo sells four true wireless earbuds in Nigeria between ₦15,400 and ₦53,500, and the gap between them is not just sound quality. It is playtime, noise cancellation, water resistance and whether the buds can hold two devices at once. Picking wrongly usually means paying for a feature you will never switch on, or saving money and then missing one you use every day.
This is a research-based comparison. ABS Vendor has not tested these earbuds. Everything below comes from Oraimo's own specifications and from verified buyer reviews on Oraimo's store, which is where the honest complaints are. Prices were checked on ng.oraimo.com on 13 and 14 October 2026 and they change, so confirm the current figure on Oraimo's site before you order. Oraimo AirBuds 4 (OTW-340) — ₦23,900: the battery and bass pick
Price: ₦23,900 on ng.oraimo.com, checked 14 October 2026. Rated 4.8/5 from 2,760 reviews on Oraimo's store.
What it is good for: Long playtime on a modest budget. Oraimo states up to 7 hours on a single charge with the case adding 31 hours, and the case has a smart LED display that shows the remaining power of the case and each earbud. There is a 6mm composite diaphragm driver with HavyBass tuning, a low-latency game mode over Bluetooth 5.3, IPX4 water and sweat protection on the buds, and the oraimo Sound App for equaliser presets. A 10-minute charge is stated to give 90 minutes of playback.
Its limit: There is no active noise cancellation. Oraimo lists ENC, which is call noise cancellation through a 2-mic beamforming array, not the noise cancellation that quietens a bus or a generator for you. The IPX4 rating applies to the earbuds only, not the charging case. Buyers also flag call performance: one review says the microphone quality could be better and that the person on the other end found them not audible enough, and another says the only thing lacking is ANC during calls. One buyer notes the included cable is micro USB, not Type-C, even though the charge input on the product is Type-C.
Who it suits: Someone who wants the longest possible gap between charges, likes heavy bass, and mostly listens rather than takes calls in noisy places.
Oraimo SpaceBuds 2 (OTW-631) — ₦53,500: the flagship, with caveats
Price: ₦53,500 on ng.oraimo.com, checked 13 October 2026. Rated 4.8/5 from 1,732 reviews on Oraimo's store. This is the most expensive of the four by a wide margin.
What it is good for: The feature list is the longest here. Hybrid ANC stated to reduce noise by up to 52 dB with adjustable levels and a Transparency Mode, 11mm dynamic drivers with a TPU+PEEK composite diaphragm, spatial audio, dual device connection, IP54 dust and splash resistance, a multifunctional button on the charging case, customisable case lighting, a tracker feature in the app, and AI translation with transcription and summaries. Playtime is stated at up to 11.5 hours per charge and 45 hours with the case with ANC off, dropping to 9 hours and 35 hours with ANC on. A 10-minute charge gives up to 3 hours. The box includes large and small eartips.
Its limit: The AI translation is the weakest part according to the people who own it. One buyer says the AI voice feature does not speak into your ear the way the images suggest, that it translates what goes into the mic, that the language list is short and they expected Nigerian languages, and that the translation is not very accurate — their words: do not get your hopes up on that one. Another buyer says the AI translation is great but not many people would realistically use it. On noise cancellation, one review says they were not really impressed and that the original SpaceBuds had more ANC. Another paid for same-day delivery and received it a day late.
Who it suits: Buyers who want the widest feature set, dual device switching, spatial audio and the case button, and who will use ANC daily. If AI translation is the reason you are paying ₦53,500, the buyer reviews say that is the wrong reason.
Oraimo SpaceBuds Lite (OTW-324) — ₦15,400: the cheapest, and the one to watch on colour
Price: ₦15,400 on ng.oraimo.com, checked 13 October 2026. Rated 4.7/5 from 1,465 reviews on Oraimo's store. This is the cheapest of the four.
What it is good for: The basics done well at the lowest price. Oraimo states 7 hours on a single charge plus 33 hours from the case, a 10mm driver, Sound360 spatial sound activated in the oraimo Sound App, a smart earbud finder that plays sound cues, a personalised Bluetooth name, AI call noise cancellation with dual mics, IPX4 water resistance, and Bluetooth 5.4. Charging time is about 2 hours. Colours are Gravity Black, Light Gold and Digital Lavender, and a silicone lanyard is in the box along with two pairs of eartips.
Its limit: No active noise cancellation — the noise cancellation here is for calls only. There is no dual device connection, and a buyer who came from Lenovo ThinkBuds calls that out directly: they have to disconnect from one device and pair to another, which they describe as a hassle. On colour, a buyer who ordered Light Gold says it is not really light gold but a cream white, and that they wish they had taken the lilac instead. The same buyer had to collect the package from a site rather than have it delivered to the stated address. One review also mentions ears feeling itchy after long use.
Who it suits: First-time earbud buyers, students, and anyone who wants spatial sound and long playtime on the smallest budget and does not need ANC. If you switch between a laptop and a phone all day, this is not the one.
Oraimo SpaceBuds N (OTW-626N) — ₦26,900: the middle ground with real ANC
Price: ₦26,900 on ng.oraimo.com, checked 13 October 2026. Rated 4.7/5 from 1,240 reviews on Oraimo's store.
What it is good for: The cheapest of the four with proper active noise cancellation. Oraimo states up to 35 dB of noise reduction, 10 hours on a single charge plus 28 hours from the case with ANC off, dropping to 8.5 hours plus 23.5 hours with ANC on. It has 4-mic beamforming call noise cancellation, a 10mm driver with HavyBass tuning, Sound360 spatial audio, Bluetooth 5.4 with a low-latency game mode, IPX5 water resistance on the buds, dual device connectivity, and a 10-minute charge stated to give 180 minutes of playback. Buyers rate the spatial audio highly — one calls it the first Oraimo earbuds where the 360 spatial audio is actually very good.
Its limit: It sits between the AirBuds 4 and the SpaceBuds 2, so it loses on both ends. ANC on drops playtime from 10 hours to 8.5 hours per charge, and the ANC figure of 35 dB is below the 52 dB Oraimo states for the SpaceBuds 2. It has no IP54 rating, no AI translation, no case button and no customisable lighting. The IPX5 rating covers the earbuds only, not the charging case. Reviews are positive but shorter on detail than the others, so there is less owner feedback to go on.
Who it suits: Commuters who want noise cancellation for danfo and traffic noise, need to switch between a phone and a laptop, and cannot stretch to ₦53,500.
How to choose between the four
Work down this list and the choice usually makes itself.
- Set your ceiling first. ₦15,400 (SpaceBuds Lite), ₦23,900 (AirBuds 4), ₦26,900 (SpaceBuds N), ₦53,500 (SpaceBuds 2). Prices change, so confirm on Oraimo's site before ordering.
- Do you need ANC? Only the SpaceBuds N and SpaceBuds 2 have active noise cancellation. The AirBuds 4 and SpaceBuds Lite have call noise cancellation only. If you want quiet on a Lagos commute, the two cheaper options will not give it to you.
- Do you switch between two devices? Dual device connection is on the SpaceBuds 2 and the SpaceBuds N only. A buyer complaint about the SpaceBuds Lite is exactly this missing feature.
- How long between charges? The SpaceBuds 2 states the longest figure at 45 hours with the case, but that drops to 35 hours with ANC on. The AirBuds 4 states 38 hours total, the SpaceBuds N 38 hours with ANC off, and the SpaceBuds Lite 40 hours total. Given power cuts and NEPA, the case figure matters more than the single-charge figure.
- Water and dust. The SpaceBuds 2 is IP54, the SpaceBuds N is IPX5, and the AirBuds 4 and SpaceBuds Lite are IPX4. On all four, the protection covers the earbuds only, not the charging case.
- Ignore the AI translation in your maths. It is only on the SpaceBuds 2, and the owners who have used it say the language list is short, Nigerian languages are missing, and the accuracy is not reliable.
If you want the safest value pick for most Nigerian buyers, the SpaceBuds N at ₦26,900 is the one that buys ANC, dual device connection and spatial audio without the flagship price. If ANC is not something you will actually use, the AirBuds 4 at ₦23,900 gives you longer battery life and a battery display for less. If ₦15,400 is the budget, the SpaceBuds Lite covers the essentials and nothing more.
What verified buyers say
Buyer feedback differs sharply by model, and it is worth reading before you pay.
- AirBuds 4: Owners praise the bass, the long battery life and the LED display that shows the level of the case and each earbud. The recurring complaint is call clarity — one buyer says the microphone quality could be better and that they are not audible enough on phone calls, and another says the only thing lacking is ANC during calls. One buyer charges once a week and says a full charge takes under two hours, and notes the included cable is micro USB but long.
- SpaceBuds 2: Owners describe a premium design, comfortable fit for hours, strong bass, clear vocals, good instrument separation, stable Bluetooth and a case button they use constantly. The complaints are specific: AI translation does not work the way the marketing images suggest, the language list is short with no Nigerian languages, and accuracy is unreliable. One buyer says the ANC did not impress them and that the earlier SpaceBuds had more. One paid for same-day delivery and got it a day later.
- SpaceBuds Lite: Buyers call the sound clean and well balanced with bass that does not overpower vocals, and like the lanyard, the Type-C cable and the fast delivery. Complaints are about the colour — Light Gold arriving as cream white — and about the missing dual device connection, which forces manual re-pairing when switching devices. One buyer had to collect the package from a site instead of their stated address.
- SpaceBuds N: Reviews are brief and positive — good sound, deep bass, comfortable fit, fast charging, and one buyer calling the 360 spatial audio the best Oraimo has done. Fewer detailed complaints are available for this model.
Verdict
Buy the SpaceBuds N at ₦26,900 if you want active noise cancellation, dual device connection and spatial audio at the lowest price that offers all three. It is the best fit for most Nigerian buyers who commute and juggle a phone and a laptop.
Buy the SpaceBuds 2 at ₦53,500 only if the extra features — IP54, the case button, customisable lighting, the tracker, the longest battery figure — are things you will genuinely use. Do not buy it for the AI translation.
Buy the AirBuds 4 at ₦23,900 if battery life and bass matter more to you than noise cancellation, and you mostly listen rather than make calls in loud places. Buy the SpaceBuds Lite at ₦15,400 if it is your first pair, the budget is fixed, and you accept no ANC and no dual device connection. Skip all four and look elsewhere if you need ANC below ₦26,900, or if you need a waterproof charging case — none of these state one.

Frequently asked questions
Which of these Oraimo earbuds has active noise cancellation?
Only the SpaceBuds 2 (OTW-631) and the SpaceBuds N (OTW-626N). Oraimo states up to 52 dB of hybrid ANC for the SpaceBuds 2 and up to 35 dB for the SpaceBuds N. The AirBuds 4 and SpaceBuds Lite have call noise cancellation (ENC) only, which helps your voice on calls but does not quieten the room for you.
How long does the battery actually last?
Oraimo's stated figures are up to 7 hours per charge plus 31 hours from the case for the AirBuds 4, up to 11.5 hours plus 45 hours total for the SpaceBuds 2 with ANC off (9 hours and 35 hours with ANC on), 7 hours plus 33 hours for the SpaceBuds Lite, and 10 hours plus 38 hours for the SpaceBuds N with ANC off (8.5 hours and 32 hours with ANC on). These are oraimo Lab test results, so real-world figures will vary with volume and ANC use.
Can I connect these earbuds to my phone and laptop at the same time?
Only the SpaceBuds 2 and the SpaceBuds N support dual device connection. The AirBuds 4 and SpaceBuds Lite do not, so you will need to disconnect from one device and pair to the other. A SpaceBuds Lite buyer specifically complains about this.
Is the AI translation on the SpaceBuds 2 worth paying for?
Based on buyer reviews, no. Owners report that the translation works through the microphone rather than into your ear as the images suggest, that the language list is short and does not include Nigerian languages, and that accuracy is unreliable. One buyer advises not to get your hopes up on it.
