A Referral Quest is a challenge on ABS Vendor where users compete by earning Quest Points through qualifying referral activities.

Instead of rewarding you simply for referring someone, the Quest tracks what happens after the referral joins ABS Vendor.

Your referrals can earn you points when they complete qualifying activities such as registering, depositing funds or making transactions, depending on the rules of the active Quest.

The process is simple:

1. Join the Quest
2. Share your referral link
3. Someone joins ABS Vendor through your link
4. Your referral completes qualifying activities
5. You earn Quest Points
6. Your points are added to the leaderboard

👤 1. Refer a New User

Every Referral Quest starts with your referral network.

Share your ABS Vendor referral link with people who are interested in using ABS Vendor for data, airtime, bills and other available services.

When someone registers through your referral link, the system can identify them as your referral.

However, registration does not necessarily mean you receive all available Quest Points. Different activities can have different point values.

💰 2. Your Referral Becomes Active

This is what makes the Referral Quest different from a simple referral programme.

Your referral can generate additional Quest Points by completing qualifying activities.

Depending on the active Quest rules, these activities may include:

• Registration
• Wallet deposit
• First qualified transaction

If another participant earns enough Quest Points to move ahead of you, you can receive an email notifying you that you've been overtaken.

This allows you to stay aware of your position and decide whether you need to continue earning Quest Points to move back up the leaderboard.

🎁 6. How Are Winners Selected?

This depends on the rules of the particular Quest.

A Quest may reward participants based on:

• Reaching a specific Quest Point target
• Finishing in a specific leaderboard position

The reward amount, number of winners and minimum points are displayed in the Quest details.

Imagine a Referral Quest has a target of 5,000 Quest Points and a ₦10,000 reward.
