At the Élysée Palace in Paris, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and President Emmanuel Macron reached a renewed understanding, as both leaders agreed that Nigeria and France must deepen their partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability. This was the outcome of a productive meeting between PBAT and the French president, as it will foster growth and improvement for the average Nigerian.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed key areas of cooperation, focusing on trade, investment, security, and cultural exchange. The discussions centered on strengthening economic ties that will not only benefit Nigeria and France but also contribute to wider global peace and stability.

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of deepening trade relations with France, highlighting Nigeria’s role as Africa’s largest economy and a gateway to the continent. He noted that increased collaboration in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and technology would provide opportunities for growth and job creation.

On his part, President Macron reaffirmed France’s commitment to working closely with Nigeria, stressing the need for stronger security cooperation and cultural partnerships. He expressed confidence that a robust Nigeria-France partnership would enhance global cooperation in tackling pressing challenges such as terrorism, climate change, and economic inequality.

Both presidents agreed that mutual prosperity cannot be achieved without a deliberate focus on stability, not only within their nations but across the globe. They pledged to continue fostering dialogue and cooperation through bilateral and multilateral platforms.

The meeting at the Élysée Palace underscores the shared vision of Nigeria and France in building stronger ties that will pave the way for greater opportunities, economic resilience, and global peace.
